Verdict

BALLET RED faded in the closing stages over a mile at Windsor last week when attempting to make all. But she was beaten only a head over 7f here on her earlier racecourse debut and is worth another chance if given a more restrained ride. The remainder with racecourse experience have shown little so far so one of the newcomers will likely prove a bigger threat with Meringue, a half-sister to three winners, preferred to Queen's Soldier and the latter’s stablemate Never Do Nothing.
