Verdict
Great Return was placed in an amateurs’ race over today’s trip at Lingfield a fortnight ago and can race off the same mark but Navajo Star has looked in the handicappers’ grip since landing a double in October. Several of these have been hurdling including Maid Of Tuscany, who won over 1m6f on the Flat last season, while Ding Ding was runner-up at Lingfield on her penultimate start. A runner-up over hurdles last time, BLACK PRINCE won over 2m at Chelmsford before that and the three-year-old gets the vote to go in again with further progress likely.
