Verdict

Such is the form of the Henderson bumper horses that we need look no further than LUSH LIFE. Support for Inner Steel would catch our eye but Major Harry and Double Target are likelier threats. With nine winners from just twenty eight runners in this sphere over the past three months the Seven Barrows' bumper runners are clearly at the top of their game and it would be no surprise were this 90,000 euro purchase to add his name to the roll of honour. Inner Steel has twice been declared in the past week only to miss his engagements and he hails from a shrewd yard, albeit one that has enjoyed little success in this discipline of late. Double Target may well fare better than on debut but the selection could have too much speed for this stoutly bred gelding who will come into his own once faced with a fence. Major Harry failed to justify his position in the market on debut but these conditions are a completely different ball game to soft ground at Chepstow and he's not one to be taken lightly. Neltara and Badster are others to have shown ability but Lush Life can put us in clover.
