      Verdict

      Princess Kaiulani and Aloysia look up against it in this company, while both Island Melody and Whipcrackaway went backwards on their latest starts after showing some promise earlier. That leaves us with the top two on the racecard and, while Oratorian made an improved effort to finish third over C&D last time, it was JOSAM that caught the eye on his debut over 7f at Wolverhampton. Showing signs of inexperience, he produced a late flourish to finish fourth and looks sure to relish today's extra furlong.
