With the Brian Meehan runners going well at the moment CHINCOTEAGUE might have what it takes to win this at the main expense of Honourable Endeavor. The last-named has been given a squeak by the assessor, who has dropped him to a mark of 50 for today. Although thoroughly exposed, he went well enough from 4lbs higher last time and he stays very well, so he is a threat. Saute is a good yardstick but he looks vulnerable off this mark and William's Way looks a better proposition. However, there are enough runners here for Chincoteague to be switched off and come with a late rattle and with improvement entirely possible for this much longer trip we will side with her.
