        Verdict

        Baddilini sprang a surprise at Wolverhampton nine day ago, just getting the better of the hat-trick-seeking Trojan Rocket. The latter holds Novellen Lad on earlier form but neither of the aforementioned pair are particularly well drawn here and could be trapped wide at the first bend. Corporal Maddox has been racing over further while it's a long time since Piscean showed any worthwhile form but Barnet Fair is a smart sprinter on his day and won over 5f at Ascot last summer. YEEOOW rarely runs a bad race and is back on a winning mark. He was in good form over this course and distance around this time last year and, sure to strip fitter for a run at Lingfield, looks to have a terrific chance today.
