Broughtons Flare is on the same mark as when successful here in February though that was over 7f. SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD scored over the trip at Lingfield in July and continued to run well until finding 5f too short at Southwell. He's only 3lb higher than that victory and can get back to winning ways. Trusty Rusty has never raced over a trip this short but Ghepardo gained a course and distance success on his reappearance in June and looked ready to score again when beaten less than a length on a return visit last month.
