Verdict

Loads of these are on form and although Avenuesnalleyways was ultra impressive when winning at York he's been clobbered by the handicapper. Bohemian Melody is a bit of a course specialist but he too might feel the icy grip of the assessor which leaves the two protagonists who are chasing four-timers. Kakatosi has been very progressive and should show enough improvement to overcome his last mark rise to run a big race but the vote will land with THE CONFESSOR, who looks well treated under a penalty and his versatility on different types of ground should mean that Henry Candy's runner will handle this surface.
