In depth

Verdict

HOLLOW BAY has the advantage of a recent run which may just be enough to see off Maid Of Milan. Paul Webber's mare had looked a certain future winner when runner-up at Sandown and Ludlow and will be better for that run at Fakenham a fortnight ago. Maid Of Milan has had a couple of months off since a slightly disappointing run on this sort of ground at Fontwell and may be better with some give underfoot. Maypole Lass has now had 19 starts over hurdles without winning but still looks best of the remainder.
