In depth

Verdict

Silsol must go close again for Paul Nicholls as he is one of the few arriving in any kind of form. He was second on the Flat here last month before only finding one too good again over hurdles at Wincanton. Staigue Fort has won twice over hurdles this season and was sixth in a similar race last month following a break while Koolala won over timber at Wincanton in November and has already been successful in a bumper on the Polytrack. GREY BLUE was a little green but shaped nicely on his hurdling debut here last month. That should have blown away a few cobwebs and, as this four-year-old had winning form on the Flat, he may have too much speed for these.
