Three-year-olds have won this for the past two seasons. Karnage was making his all-weather debut when runner-up on Tapeta at Wolverhampton and, though receiving 11lb from the winner, should improve again and get competitive. Tommys Geal is consistent though she's never been out of Class 6 company in handicaps unlike If I Were A Boy, who has continued to run well at this level after scoring on Turf at Lingfield. PUTARINGONIT was making her handicap debut when just getting up at Lingfield and will need to step up on that with a 3lb rise. But that was only her fourth start and, with further progress likely, she can complete a double. Red Dragon hasn't won for almost three years but has dropped to a fair mark as a consequence and showed much more dash here a fortnight ago.
