In depth

Verdict

Mr Potter scored over the trip at Chelmsford last month and was only beaten a head under a penalty over this track and trip later. DEEDS NOT WORDS completed a Yarmouth double in July and is back on exactly the same mark as his last victory so gets the nod to land the 12th victory of his career. Magicinthemaking was having her first start for new connections when gaining a surprise victory at Chelmsford. She's only been raised 3lb so has to be greatly respected. Majorette won a Lingfield handicap in June but has run poorly in two subsequent starts including this track last time.
