My Mate Jake should make a bold bid for a hat-trick having won over C&D last time with Ashkalara back in third. This is tougher than the race Graylyn Valentino won at Wolverhampton last month, however, and it was only a lowly seller that Officer In Command landed at Lingfield in July. Mcbirney is on a decent mark compared to last year's winning form and he showed a bit more last time but SPIN CAST is preferred. He wasn't disgraced over a longer trip here on his first start since April and scored over today's distance at Yarmouth.
