Brave Dane is set to gain another course-and-distance victory at the expense of Cotingham, with Miss Glory Be, Bob Baileys, Boogie Magic and Gala Sunday all worth a mention at least. With a nice draw in stall 11, hopes are high that Jamie Spencer can make the most of the situation to guide home Brave Dane again, the eight-year-old having bounced back from a 220-day absence to hack up under Jimmy Fortune last week. The move back to former trainer Tony Carroll has obviously done him no harm, and it will take a good performance by one of the others to stop him following up. Cottingham made his first start for David Barron a winning one at Wolverhampton 10 days ago, but was certainly not as impressive as the selection, while Miss Glory Be finally got the winning habit three weeks ago but is usually frustrating to follow. Bob Baileys, Boogie Magic and Gala Sunday were all last-time-out winners, but none of that trio make great appeal either, certainly not as much as Brave Dane who gets a confident vote.
