Mutamarres, Ludovico and Grand Jour appear the ones for the shortlist and we side with Mutamarres. Sir Michael Stoute's representative has been the subject of some positive reports from the gallops and he appears to have been expertly campaigned with this year in mind. Today represents a step up in trip but the breeding suggests that there is every reason to believe that he'll stay a mile. Ludovico has winning form on the surface and that will count for plenty here. There are no fitness worries and a bold account is expected. Grand Jour was outclassed in a listed race at Lingfield but this appears to be a more realistic option. Terry Mills trained the winner of that race and he is represented by Charlton on this occasion. He struggled to get his head infront last year and 90 looks a difficult mark to win off. Ans Bach is a Godolphin castoff and he is now with trainer, Michael Jarvis. A winner of a Newmarket maiden, the switch to the veteran handler could make all the difference. Yarqus caught the eye when winning a mile maiden at Brighton. The market is watched this afternoon. Mutamarres is very interesting off today's rating and we nominate him as our selection.
