In depth

Verdict

Gentleman Valley scored over 2m5f here before pulling up over the same trip at Doncaster. Milan Bridge made a successful debut for Paul Nicholls at Lingfield and, though the form hasn't worked out, he'll improve and be well suited by the longer trip. REE OKKA (NAP), a winner between the flags in Ireland, made a very promising hurdling debut at Aintree before scoring over 2m3f at Chepstow. He's another certain to be suited by stepping up but Another Brown Bear pulled up when tackling this trip at Haydock and has questions to answer, as does stable companion Major Sting. Winning point-to-pointer Pilot Show found 2m3f too short on his hurdling debut at Lingfield.
