    Verdict

Both Norfolk Sky and Honourable Knight won lesser grade events on their penultimate starts but came up short in similar company to this last time. Layline has gone off the boil somewhat since scoring at Wolverhampton in November, though Icebuster ran well in much better company at Lingfield recently when stepped back up to 2m and has leading claims. FIRST WARNING is the least exposed having won a maiden race over 1m4f here on his latest start. He gave the impression this longer trip would suit and Tim Pitt's charge gets the vote with further progress expected.
