      Verdict

      SHINING ARMOR can return to winning ways having missed out on a four-timer by only a neck when runner-up in a conditions race at Wolverhampton. He separated higher-rated rivals on that occasion and can race off the same mark as when last successful in a handicap with Darragh Keenan's allowance taken into account. K Club has a bit to find with the selection on latest running while Beleaguerment beat Reticent Angel in a lower grade contest over track and trip last week and the latter re-opposes on better terms with headgear fitted for the first time. Uncle Jerry notched up a double on the all-weather earlier but remains 9lb higher than when scoring at Chelmsford last month.
