Frankie Dettori makes the dash from his afternoon base in Newmarket to ride two for Mark Johnston on this card and we think he takes that journey mostly to ride ELUSIVE FAME who gets the call here ahead of handicap debutante Brother Cha while last time out winner Jake The Snake makes some appeal. A little bit in and out on the form lines the pick has been almost exclusively campaigned at Southwell in recent runs. He does act around here and only found a subsequent winner too good off a pound better last time. Brother Cha duly stepped up on his debut effort to score on his last start as a three-year-old. The second placed animal has since scored a hat-trick including off a mark of 81 so he looks weighted well enough to go well on debut in these ranks with more expected. Jake The Snake has a great strike-rate here and the late nature of his win over course and distance last time gives the handicapper a headache and he still should be in the mix off this rating. Hurricane Spirit is a former course and distance winner that has a chance but maybe lacks fitness so we turn to Frankie and Elusive Fame.
