A competitive enough start to the evening's proceedings and Thoughtsofstardom is taken to see off Musical Script, while Rocker can also go well. The Michael Wigham-trained selection is in very good form at present, winning over c&d a couple of starts ago and just being played a couple of strides too late last time. A 1lb rise shouldn't make a whole lot of difference and he can win again. Musical Script scored over 6f at Lingfield last time out and has been running consistently well of late. The gelding is effective over both five and six furliongs but is probably better suited to the latter trip and is just opposed. Rocker was runner up over c&d last time and comes here on the same mark. Sir Eric Parker's four-year-old was showing his first bit of decent form for some time there and a reproduction would give him frame claims here. Tom's Laughter might find this a bit on the short side as one who has laregly been campaigned over further, while money for Mambazo would make him interesting. Even so, Thoughtsofstardom has plenty going for him and gets the vote.
