    Verdict

    Fibresand winner EQUITANIA handled the surface at Lingfield last time but wasn't quite good enough. Dropped in class and trip and with Richard Hughes on board, she can return to winning ways. Bay Laurel's defeat of Sofi's Spirit, who runs in the first race on the card, has worked out well but Hardy Red's victory at Ffos Las in September looks superior form. Harrogate Fair has failed to figure since winning a handicap at Wolverhampton last month but is unpredictable and could go close on a going day.
