In depth

Verdict

Ocean du Moulin was an impressive winner at Plumpton last week and can go in again this afternoon, Willie Pep and Flemish Invader could be the main dangers. The Paul Nicholls trained five-year-old got the better of stable companion Gaelic Princess without breaking sweat. There should be plenty more to come and he will take a deal of beating. Willie Pep also ran out a smooth winner last time out, beating The Sliotar by three and a bit lengths. Ground and trip are ideal again and another big run can be expected. Flemish Invader just got up to land a Uttoxeter bumper and it is interesting to see this one go straight over hurdles. There could be better to come from the Phillip Hobbs trained Master Wolfe, but Ocean du Moulin has done nothing wrong so far and can continue the good work today.
