IN TRANSIT drops into this grade for the first time and can prove too strong for Herring Senior and Hum Cat. With 12 outings already this season In Transit has not been spared by his connections but with some solid efforts among those many performances, he has the best form. His proximity to some smart juveniles stands out however the one worry is his form over a mile which is considerably weaker to his form over six and seven furlongs. Herring Senior steps up to a mile for the first time here. He posted a good effort over seven furlongs at this venue last time considering the fact he was drawn low and was forced to do a large amount of work early. Hum Cat's best effort was at Lingfield two starts back. His last effort at Wolverhampton was clearly not his running and being another dropping into claiming grade for the first time, he warrants respect. Cherry Belle has the visor re-applied and the hope would be that could have a positive effect. She has shown a tendency to hang under pressure but in a weak race she could be one to sneak a place. Diamond Heist is a rare runner for his trainer in this grade. He has shown glimpses of ability.
