      Verdict

      RUTHERGLEN was sent hurdling in November and has won all three subsequent starts over timber. There's a good chance he'll carry over his progressive form to this code and John Quinn's charge can land this despite racing off a 7lb higher mark than when scoring at Windsor last year. Softsong also arrives on the back of a win over hurdles and slipped down the weights in the Flat last season. He has decent claims along with Clerk's Choice, a winner in this grade at Lingfield in December. Eshtyaaq has won over today's trip on Turf but has been badly out of form of late.
