Fountains Windfall would have given Black Corton plenty to think about in the Kauto Star here last month had he not fallen at the last fence on the far side. But he’s now come down twice when well placed so the novice comes with risk attached and is conceding weight to some tough and experienced handicappers. The Young Master won a Grade 3 off a higher mark in 2016 and produced a better effort last time at Aintree but this trip has always looked beyond On Tour. Morning Reggie has only raced over 3m once before while better ground suits Ballykan. BALLYALTON has not won beyond 2m6f under Rules but did win a point earlier in his career and should have no problem lasting home around here. He has run well in all thee starts since returning from injury and looks ready to get his head back in front.
