SUNLEY VALENTINE has finished third in her last two starts without looking like winning. It's doesn't say much for this field that it's still the best form on show and she gets a token vote stepping up a furlong. Monessa has been placed in maidens at Folkestone, including one over today's trip, and could figure but she's more exposed than the other handicap debutants. They include Methaen, Morning Muse and Great Mystery but the remainder have no worthwhile form to recommend them so far.
