        Verdict

        GUITAR just failed to catch the winner at Lingfield on his debut for a new yard and finished well ahead of both Solanna and Sandie's Dream. He also had the measure of Surrey Territories when scoring at Wolverhampton before that and another bold bid is expected. Artemisia Gentile posted a much better effort on her reappearance but steps back up in distance. Carewell Cover may prove best of those handicapping for the first time.
