In depth

Verdict

CELTIC JOY (NAP) was making his chasing debut when scoring over 2m2f here last month, battling back when headed on the run-in, which suggests this longer trip will be to his liking. Ballymountain Boy, who finished fourth, looks well held while Dorking Cock, who completed a double over hurdles in February, made too many mistakes on his chasing debut at Hexham last month and was well beaten. Sammy Bill looks much more like a chaser than a hurdler and starts out on a lowly mark while winning hurdler Net De Treve I another likely to do better in time.
