Linda Green is preferred to Chatshow and Vanadium, with Mandarin Spirit and Duke Of Milan making for a close-knit contest. There are indeed plenty in with a shout here, but Linda Green got back to winning ways at Windsor in October, coming off a strong pace to beat Chatshow by a neck, and on today's terms should just about hold that rival again, providing they go fast enough here. In addition, she gets weight from Vanadium who ran well in defeat again last time, so should have that one's measure as well. Mandarin Spirit likes this trip but has been hard to win with despite racing off a fair mark now, while Duke Of Milan has some scope, and with young Patrick Hills taking 7lb off his back, Giles Bravery's charge may be involved along with Jayanjay. An open event can go to Linda Green.
