Verdict

Last year’s winner Open Wide was scoring for the first time since when successful at Chelmsford but is upped in class today along with Yarmouth winner Papa Stour and Ice Station Zebra. Mishal Star has been competing in Listed company but is 9lb higher than when last winning a handicap while Tiger Crusade drops down in trip. Treacherous and MOTAGALLY have yet to win this year but the latter will find this easier than last month’s fourth in the Ayr Gold Cup and and Charlie Hills’ charge gets the vote.
