A tricky maiden in which the vote is given to HAAKIMA over Sanvean and Esteem Lord. Clive Brittain's runner was disappointing when last seen out but that was in a Group 2 fillies' event at Newmarket and this is a big drop in class. She clearly has plenty of ability and if she is fit enough to do herself justice on her first run since October then she should take all the beating. Esteem Lord could be the main danger as he is fit from a spin here last month when he finished second behind Best In Class. That was an improved effort and if there are any chinks in the armour of our selection then he should be the one to profit. Sanvean has not been seen out since running in a Group 3 fillies' race at Newmarket last August. She has to be of interest, although she is likely to be much sharper for the run. Highgate Cat has a good draw and he shaped with promise on his debut. He looks the part on breeding and he could prove best of the others. Some nice types in opposition here and the vote goes to Haakima.
