Major Faux Pas is best in at the weights according to official figures and earns a tentative vote ahead of Looks The Business and Daring Affair. Unraced on the Flat since 2005 and pulled up over hurdles on his latest start in November, he clearly has plenty to prove. However, his yard is in fine form at present and the first time blinkers may just work the oracle. Looks The Business is a solid performer in this grade and should be in the mix but it would be no surprise if Daring Affair were to emerge as the bigger danger. She produced a couple of decent efforts at Wolverhampton last month, is a really consistent performer on the all-weather and should be a live player in this grade but a chance is taken with Major Faux Pas.
