Verdict

FIRST CHARGE has won both starts on Tapeta since stepping up to today’s trip. A chance is taken Mark Loughnane’s charge is equally effective on this surface and he’s preferred to Yagood. The latter went close at Newcastle last time while Independence placed over track and trip a fortnight ago without looking like catching the winner. September Power and Libbretta step up in distance with a shout if lasting home.
