    Verdict

Rezwaan is back here for the first time since winning over track and trip in March but remains 6lb higher in the weights and Kolonel Kirkup went close at the track in the same month when ahead of San Quentin and Highly Likely. The latter had earlier fallen prey to CHARLIES MATE over 1m2f at this venue and John Best's charge gets the nod to come good again in an open affair. Polydamos went close on his only previous attempt over course and distance and Richard Hughes presence takes the eye.
