      Verdict

      Cry Havoc failed to complete a hat-trick when last in action but Lir Speciale won over track and trip in October, though is 5lb higher on his reappearance having been gelded subsequently. HICKORY (NAP) lost his unbeaten record when a close-up fourth in this grade at Southwell but he’ll be sharper for that comeback run and a bold bid is expected with James Fanshawe’s yard in good form. Satin Snake went close here last time but this is tougher.
