Verdict

Al Marmar represents last year’s winning yard but failed to show any improvement behind fourth-placed Naval Commander here last time. Imperial Sands’ form has tapered off since scoring over track and trip in January but both Excel Power and Sir Dancealot should be sharper for recent comebacks. AUSTRIAN THEORY hasn’t raced since October but is 3lb lower than when going close at Newmarket last summer and is reunited with winning partner Joe Fanning for this.
