Divine Gift has a great chance of following up his recent Doncaster success here, with Mutahayya and Psychiatrist the main dangers. The selection was a very comfortable winner of a conditions race over a mile at Town Moor last time and is a possibility for the Italian 2,000 Guineas according to trainer Michael Jarvis. If he is to have any chance there then he must go well here and he can maintain his good start to the campaign. Mutahayya was a three-quarter length second to Fantastic View in similar company at Goodwood last backend and is well respected, especially if the ground dries out. John Dunlop will have the colt straight enough to do himself justice and he should be thereabouts. Psychiatrist is the other for the short list. Perhaps not the best of Richard Hannon's original trio of entries for this, Hannon believes he will nevertheless be a Group horse this time. He seems to act on any ground and already has proven form at the trip, so he looks a lively frame chance, but for the selection we are sticking with Divine Gift.
