      Verdict

      DANCING KING ran green upped in trip at Wolverhampton on last week’s handicap debut. But he forged clear of the rest in the closing stages and a 6lb penalty is unlikely to anchor him in this with any further progress. Wallem won a maiden race at Wolverhampton in January and the Derby entry should stay this extra distance while Side Shot was beaten only a neck at Newmarket on last year’s first start in a handicap and is another tackling a longer trip. Bowland Park won a maiden race over 7f last summer and is preferred to the more exposed Coul Queen.
