Verdict
HOMETOWN GLORY still ran well despite only managing fourth in better company at Lingfield last time. Brian Meehan's colt can return to winning ways in this as he'd earlier beaten subsequent winner and today's rival Lowther at the same track. The latter has decent claims and is preferred to Red Somerset who had Jack Who's He behind when second on his latest start. Stir Trader has been winning over shorter trips of late but Haftohaf failed to improve on his maiden win when losing at odds-on over 7f here three weeks ago. Buckland has plenty to find with the selection and is overlooked.
