A nice prize for a mid-week race on the all-weather and Banish beat Charlies Mate in a qualifying event for this final back in September. Rock Steady and Sam Missile were both placed in different qualifiers and the latter was ahead of Red Rannagh when runner-up off today’s mark. Storm Rock has shown his best on Turf so far and steps back up in distance along with Dutch Uncle. SIXTIES GROOVE (NAP) is a course and distance winner and has shown progressive form since. Beaten only a couple of lengths in the Old Rowley Cup at Newmarket last time, this is easier and Jeremy Noseda’s colt gets the vote.
