Debonaire David won twice over this trip on the all-weather during the summer and his latest fourth at Newmarket wasn’t a bad effort while Mishaal is in decent nick, though hasn’t managed to get his head in front since July of last year. Maazel has been a big disappointment this year but Born To Finish was a bit unlucky last time at Wolverhampton and holds Big Lachie on that run. Kowaiyess sprang a surprise on his reappearance at Epsom and remains unexposed but RED ALERT gets the vote in a tricky finale. Not beaten far in a couple of runs on Turf since joining William Muir, he won over this trip at Chelmsford in February so will handle a switch back to this surface.
