Holden Eagle was still beaten three lengths despite finishing second at Wolverhampton last time and is now 10lb higher than when scoring here in March. GRANDAD MAC also never got near the winner at Yarmouth on his reappearance but started a well-backed favourite which suggests connections think him capable of winning off today's mark having ended last season with a victory at Chepstow.
