Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

NOBLE SILK separated a couple of higher rated horses when runner-up in a conditions race over track and trip last week. This is less competitive and Lucy Wadham's charge gets the vote. Mr Burbidge has been in winning form in lesser company over the winter and the less exposed White Nile could prove a bigger threat having ended last term with a victory over 1m7f at Doncaster. Argent Knight is now 9lb higher than when scoring at Newmarket but Poitin can effectively race off the same mark as when winning over track and trip in February with an apprentice's claim taken into account.
