In depth

Verdict

Rock Boy Grey always looked to be going well at Chelmsford on Saturday and had a bit in hand, though has to carry a 5lb penalty. Enthaar is climbing the weights and probably wouldn't want to go much higher but won nicely here in January though BADAYEL looks the one to beat. Runner-up in his first four starts, he got off the mark in very easy fashion at Southwell. With today's surface no problem, he looks set to complete a double. Boom The Groom pops up every now and then and has won from higher marks in the past while stable companion Doc Spartello is generally thereabouts, though looking a few pounds high at present.
