    Verdict

    Jake The Snake is best in at the weights here, but that's been the case on his last two starts and he found one too good on both occasions. Hinton Admiral beat him here early last month but couldn't confirm the form when they met again a fortnight ago and Bawaardi makes more appeal. The latter had Samarinda behind when second over C&D before running poorly at Southwell last time. Lastkingofscotland will find this tougher than the claimer he won at Lingfield on Monday and a chance is taken on the lightly-raced CHIMPUNK, who scored on his recent return to action and looks capable of better still.
