Verdict

Exceling steps up in trip having completed a double over 6f here and beating both Judy's Park and Greek Philosopher in the process. Buraback placed at Lingfield and Almodovar Del Rio went close at Wolverhampton last time and both are preferred to Gidwa but a couple of these make their handicap debuts having raced in the same maiden race over track and trip a fortnight ago. Ummsuquaim finished second having been allowed an easy lead but fourth-placed GREYART was having his first start since October and is taken to reverse running with normal progress.
