Division One of this low grade one mile two furlong handicap looks wide open but off a feather-light weight LYRICAL INTENT looks the best option and we'll side with the gelding at the expense of Sir Haydn and Fitzwarren. The fact that the last mentioned has won once from 51 starts probably sums up the standard of the contest, however, the pick, Lyrical Intent, has been getting closer to winning as his mark has fallen and receiving weight all round he can get on top. His run when fourth behind an in-form animal last time reads well enough in the context of this race and is some of the best recent form on display. Sir Haydn looks the danger after a better showing last time and dropping below his last winning mark; a step back to this trip may also help. Former course and distance winner Classic Blue looks value for a place for an in-form stable with his last run best ignored coming on a surface that didn't suit. This may not be a race that lives long in the memory unless you are involved with Lyrical Intent, who looks the most likely.
