In depth

Verdict

The three to look out for in the opener are Hereford Boy, Scarlett Heart and Feeling Foxy with the vote going to the last named. The selection finished an eye catching second over six furlongs last time out and this drop back to five should not pose a problem. He is yet to win after eleven starts but has put in some bold perfomances in defeat in the past so a win should not be too far away. Scarlett Heart ran well enough on her debut when finishing fifth of nine at Kempton over six furlongs. Improvement is likely so any market moves should be noted. Hereford Boy is another horse to be knocking on the door of late finishing second and third on each of his last two outings. He handled the surface at Wolverhampton last time out so ought to handle the conditions here so is one to note. But for the winner we return to Feeling Foxy.
