      Verdict

Across The Nile came out second best in a fight to the line at Wolverhampton with Queen Of Burgundy. LUCAYAN (NAP) gave the same horse too much daylight at Lingfield earlier in the week and was beaten less than a length. The latter gets another chance in this having also beaten Light Lily at Southwell at the end of last year. Balqaa placed at Newcastle last time having won at the same track earlier while Point Louise won at Wolverhampton in October and is 2lb higher on her reappearance.
