Verdict
Mans Not Trot drops down to 7f for the first time having made all over a mile at Chelmsford last month and Zahirah is preferred with a recent course and distance success under her belt. Herringswell was beaten less than a length when third at Newcastle and can race off the same mark but TAMERLANE is the least exposed and, making his handicap debut with blinkers fitted for the first time, Clive Cox' charge is expected to improve and go close. Napping won here in October but has been beaten off today's higher mark subsequently.
